Air India Express connects Riyadh, Bahrain with Thiruvananthapuram

Air India Express will launch direct Thiruvananthapuram–Riyadh and Thiruvananthapuram–Bahrain services from 27 October, with bookings open. Riyadh will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, complementing the airline’s existing daily Dammam service. Bahrain will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays, adding to daily Gulf Air connectivity on the route. The additions take place as Thiruvananthapuram Airport handles more than 250 weekly air traffic movements to Gulf destinations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Muscat, Kuwait and Dammam. The airport serves around five million passengers annually and connects to 14 international and nine domestic destinations through 17 airline partners.
