DXB named the most luxurious airport in the world
Dubai International Airport (DXB) has been named the most luxurious airport in the world, according to the latest survey by medical insurance company, AllClear.
Out of the 1,800 airports vetted and scrutinised, it was Dubai’s international terminals that came out on top.
Despite it being the busiest airport in the world, this doesn’t stop the 90 million passengers DXB welcomed in 2023 from having a luxurious experience.
So what’s so special about it anyway?
Well, this isn’t your usual duty-free only airport you see. DXB is renowned for its plethora of facilities: numerous spas, gardens (with a waterfall), and even its own five-star hotel, you can see why it’s bagged the top spot: a spritz of perfume and a coffee just won’t cut it these days.
Plus, if you’re a lounge lover, you’re in luck. DXB has over 30 lounges to wait around for your flight in, and they’re so good you will be begging to be delayed.
Other airports with special mentions include London Heathrow Airport, while Doha International Airport in Qatar takes the third spot.
