Eswatini Air Announces Plans for New Route to Zambia

Eswatini Air,the national carrier of the Kingdom of Eswatini, has revealed plans to launch a new route connecting King Mswati III International Airport (SHO) in Eswatini with Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (LUN) in Lusaka, Zambia. While the official start date for this service has not yet been announced, the move marks another step in the airline’s expansion across southern Africa.

Founded in 2022 by the government-owned Royal Eswatini National Airways Corporation (RENAC), Eswatini Air began operations in March 2023. The airline specializes in regional travel and currently operates scheduled flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban in South Africa, as well as Harare in Zimbabwe.
Operating from its hub at the modern King Mswati III International Airport, Eswatini Air has quickly established itself as a reliable carrier, achieving a 95% on-time performance and 98% schedule integrity within its first year of operations.
