Uzbekistan Airways to run direct flights to Goa from October 27

In a recent update, Uzbekistan Airways has launched direct flights from Tashkent to Goa from October 27. The latest airline service has announced that it will operate two times in a week and will connect Tashkent, Uzbekistan’s capital city with Manohar International Airport (Mopa) in North Goa with an Airbus A320.

With this move, the government hopes to boost tourism and enhance cultural exchange between the two countries, Uzbekistan and Goa. The measure is being taken by the Uzbekistan Embassy, tour operators, and Indian Embassy in Tashkent. The Goa Department of Tourism is also playing an important role in establishing this connection.
The addition of this route is part of Goa’s broader strategy to diversify its tourist base and promote the state as a year-round destination.
