The multi-million-dollar building projects and cloud-crossing skyscrapers surround the location. This concept represents the ancient past.

Supertree Grove

Designers located the Supertree Grove within The Gardens by the Bay, creating a living work of art that combines technologies with greenery.

There are 18 “supertrees” in total; each tree has a different height and design and reaches up to 50 meters. You can take the elevator that runs through the trunks to get a splendid view from the top. Bridges to cross from one supertree to another. Each supertree mimics the function of a real tree that follows photosynthesis, which produces energy for the entire park. The water harvesting setup is also present, which stores the rainwater during monsoons and is used for irrigation. 

Marina Bay Sands

Location: 10 Bayfront Avenue

No trip to Singapore will ever be complete without visiting Marina Bay Sand. Millions of amazing pictures on Instagram or Pinterest are a true indication of its popularity. The 56-story hotel with the ship perched on top is a beautiful attraction in the city.

This Singapore landmark costs 20 SGD to go up to the Sands Skypark Observation Deck. With the best view of the town, you can also enjoy famous and luscious drinks. If you want to feel luxurious, you can book a hotel and experience the infinity pool and relaxing jacuzzi.

Cloud Forest

Location: Marina By the Bay 

Just around the corner from Supertree, you will be amazed by this engineering wonder. Cloud Forest is the third conservatory with a tall 111-foot jungle-clad cloud mountain and the world’s largest indoor waterfall. You can take a walk along the clouds and a treetop with exotic views of Marina Bay Waterfront.

Singapore loves to play with the idea of blending tradition with modernity, which makes the place efficient and sustainable. You can experience futuristic urban forests. Flower domes and floral fantasy are some of the latest additions to the place.

Kranji War Memorial 

Location: 9 Woodlands Road

Kranji War Memorial holds the record of the war against Japan to save Malaya and Singapore. 

This place pays tribute to men and women from the UK, Australia, Canada, India, Malaya, New Zealand, and the Netherlands. Their brave sacrifice in the battle at Kranji River; therefore, the place gets its name after this.

This place will be a good visit for history-interested people. Here is a fun fact for you  Singapore, nicknamed as “Gibraltar of the East,” was under British control.

Sultan Mosque

Location: 3 Muscat St.

You will not regret visiting this place. The mosque is an active place for worship in Singapore, but the timing of visiting hours is limited. Sultan Hussain Shah built this magnificent Islamic place for worship.

Vibrant pastel shades of orange, cream, and green are the golden toppings on the giant dome of the prayer hall. When the rays of the sun fall on the dome, it makes it shine brightest. The main worship hall can hold up to 5,000 worshippers.   

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

Location: 288 South Bridge Rd

Visiting this cultural landmark would be a good suggestion, as one-third of Singapore’s population is Buddhist. Getting involved and understanding the culture of the place will leave an impact on you for a lifetime. You may lose the material things, but the culture and the teachings of the place remain.

So the purpose is to visit new places to learn about the culture. This landmark should be on your list. You learn about the life and preaching of Buddha, and you can take some good deeds with you too.
